Scale
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup ice
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (add 1/2–1 tbsp more if you want it sweeter after tasting)
- 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
- 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
Topping (Optional)
- whipped cream
Instructions
- Add Ingredients to Blender: Combine the whole milk, ice, granulated sugar, xanthan gum, and vanilla bean paste in a blender. Make sure all ingredients are evenly distributed to prepare for blending.
- Blend Until Creamy: Blend the mixture for 60 seconds to 3 minutes, depending on your blender’s strength, until you achieve a smooth and creamy frappuccino texture.
- Taste and Adjust Sweetness: Taste your frappuccino and if you prefer it sweeter, add an additional 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of sugar, then blend again until fully mixed.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the frappuccino into a glass and, if desired, top with whipped cream for an extra creamy and indulgent finish.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more sugar after tasting.
- Xanthan gum helps thicken the frappuccino and improves the texture; do not skip it for best results.
- Using whole milk provides richness, but you can substitute with any milk alternative if preferred.
- For a stronger vanilla flavor, you can increase the vanilla bean paste slightly.
- This recipe does not use ice cream but still delivers a creamy, refreshing texture thanks to blending ice and milk thoroughly.
