Valentine’s Day Fudge Recipe

  • Author: lilan
  • Total Time: 3 hours 13 minutes (including chilling time)
  • Yield: 36 squares 1x

Description

This Valentine’s Day Fudge is a creamy, sweet treat made with white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla, all topped off with colorful sprinkles. Perfect for gifting or enjoying as a decadent dessert, this no-bake recipe is easy to prepare and sets quickly in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 3 ¾ cups (24 oz) white chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sprinkles (divided into ¼ cup for mixing and ¼ cup for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line a 9×9 inch square pan with parchment paper that covers the sides completely. This will make it easier to remove the fudge once set.
  2. Heat Ingredients: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir thoroughly to help melt the chocolate chips. If the mixture is not fully smooth, microwave in additional 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Add Flavor and Mix-Ins: Stir in the vanilla extract and ¼ cup of the sprinkles quickly to incorporate them evenly throughout the fudge mixture.
  4. Transfer to Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula to create a smooth surface.
  5. Top with Sprinkles: Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of sprinkles over the top of the fudge, gently pressing them into the surface so they stick as the fudge sets.
  6. Chill to Set: Refrigerate the fudge until it is completely cool and firm, typically about 2 to 3 hours.
  7. Cut and Store: Once firm, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into squares. Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Microwave times may vary; adjust as needed to avoid burning the chocolate.
  • Using parchment paper that extends above the pan sides helps remove the fudge easily.
  • You can substitute sprinkles with chopped nuts or dried fruit if desired.
  • Fudge can be stored for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
  • For firmer fudge, chill overnight.
