Homemade Pumpkin Coffee Creamer Recipe

  • Author: lilan
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: About 1 and 1/2 cups (360ml) 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

This Homemade Pumpkin Coffee Creamer is a creamy, flavorful addition to your morning coffee, made with real pumpkin puree, warm pumpkin pie spices, and a touch of pure maple syrup. Easy to prepare on the stovetop, this creamer delivers a cozy fall flavor that can be enjoyed immediately or stored for up to a week in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cups (360ml) heavy cream, half-and-half, or whole milk
  • 2 heaping Tablespoons (about 35g) pumpkin puree
  • 2 Tablespoons (30ml) pure maple syrup (or more, if you prefer sweeter creamer)
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons store-bought or homemade pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the heavy cream (or half-and-half or whole milk), pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice until well mixed.
  2. Add Cinnamon and Heat: Add the cinnamon sticks to the saucepan and increase the heat to medium-high. Bring the mixture to a boil, whisking occasionally, and continue boiling for 1 minute to infuse the flavors.
  3. Cool and Strain: Remove the saucepan from heat and let the creamer cool in the pan for 5 minutes. If the creamer appears separated, pour it through a fine-mesh sieve to smooth out the texture.
  4. Use Immediately: Add the creamer to your coffee immediately. Note that it is lightly sweetened, so you can add extra sugar if desired. Optionally, top your coffee with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for added flavor.
  5. Store Leftovers: Remove the cinnamon sticks and transfer any leftover creamer to a tightly sealing jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Shake well before each use.

Notes

  • You can use heavy cream, half-and-half, or whole milk, depending on your preferred richness and calorie content.
  • The sweetness level can be adjusted by adding more pure maple syrup or sugar to taste.
  • For a smoother texture, strain the creamer through a fine mesh sieve, especially if it looks separated.
  • Store the creamer in the refrigerator without cinnamon sticks to preserve flavor without over-infusing.
  • Shake the creamer well before each use to recombine ingredients.
