Spread & Toppings

  • 2 tbsp Rao’s Marinara, warmed (divided)
  • 1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese (Good Culture recommended)
  • 12 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 tsp sun-dried tomato oil
  • 12 tsp hot honey

Seasoning & Garnish

  • Italian seasoning, to taste
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Toast the Bread: Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Toast 1 slice of sourdough bread in the skillet until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. Assemble the Toast: Spread 2 tablespoons of warmed Rao’s marinara sauce evenly over the toasted bread. Next, add a generous layer of 1/4 cup cottage cheese on top of the marinara.
  3. Add the Toppings: Drizzle an additional 2 tablespoons of warmed Rao’s marinara sauce over the cottage cheese. Top with 1-2 tablespoons of sun-dried tomatoes and drizzle with 1 teaspoon of sun-dried tomato oil to enhance flavor.
  4. Season & Finish: Sprinkle Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste over the toast. Drizzle 1-2 teaspoons of hot honey over everything for a sweet-spicy kick, then garnish with fresh basil leaves for freshness.
