Dough:
- 1 ¾ cup warm water (105-115°F)
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 2 cups bread flour
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp olive oil (divided)
Toppings:
- 1 jar raspberry jam (Bonne Maman recommended)
- 2 cups Powdered sugar
- 2–4 tbsp milk (whole milk recommended)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Combine warm water and sugar, dissolve sugar, add yeast, let sit for 5 minutes. Mix flours and salt in stand mixer. Add dough to oiled bowl, let rise.
- Rise the Dough: Spread oil in pan, place dough, let rise for an hour.
- Prepare for Baking: Preheat oven, oil dough in pan, let rise again.
- Add Raspberry Jam: Spread jam over dough.
- Bake: Bake until golden brown.
- Add Icing: Poke holes, fill with jam, make icing, spread on top and bottom.
- Serve: Cut into squares and enjoy!
