  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp olive oil (divided)

Toppings:

  • 1 jar raspberry jam (Bonne Maman recommended)
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 24 tbsp milk (whole milk recommended)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Combine warm water and sugar, dissolve sugar, add yeast, let sit for 5 minutes. Mix flours and salt in stand mixer. Add dough to oiled bowl, let rise.
  2. Rise the Dough: Spread oil in pan, place dough, let rise for an hour.
  3. Prepare for Baking: Preheat oven, oil dough in pan, let rise again.
  4. Add Raspberry Jam: Spread jam over dough.
  5. Bake: Bake until golden brown.
  6. Add Icing: Poke holes, fill with jam, make icing, spread on top and bottom.
  7. Serve: Cut into squares and enjoy!

  • Use a straw to make holes for jam filling.
