Summer-Berry Refresher

  • 1/2 cup Summer-Berry Refresher Base (recipe below)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup raspberry pearls or boba (with liquid)

Summer-Berry Refresher Base

  • 1/2 cup berry syrup (see recipe below)
  • 2 Tbsp berry syrup (extra)
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp citric acid
  • 1/2 tsp green coffee extract powder (optional, for caffeine)
  • 1/4 tsp blue spirulina powder

Berry Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp blueberry extract
  • 1/2 tsp raspberry extract
  • 1/2 tsp blackberry extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare Summer-Berry Refresher Base: In a large jar or container, combine 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of berry syrup, 1 1/3 cups water, 1/2 teaspoon citric acid, 1/2 teaspoon green coffee extract powder (if using), and 1/4 teaspoon blue spirulina powder. Shake well until fully mixed and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Make Berry Syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup water and 1 cup granulated sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon each of blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry extracts. Cool completely in the refrigerator before using.
  3. Mix the Refresher: Add 1/2 cup Summer-Berry Refresher Base and 1/2 cup water to an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously until well combined and chilled.
  4. Add Raspberry Pearls: Place 1/4 cup raspberry pearls along with their liquid at the bottom of a serving glass.
  5. Assemble and Serve: Pour the shaken Summer-Berry Refresher mixture (including ice) into the prepared glass over the raspberry pearls. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, fruity flavors complemented by the fun texture of the pearls.

Notes

  • Omit green coffee extract powder if you prefer a caffeine-free refresher.
  • Citric acid adds a pleasant tartness and helps preserve the base; you can adjust or omit to taste.
