Strawberry Cheesecake Dip Recipe

  • Author: lilan
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: About 1 1/2 cups 1x

Description

A deliciously creamy and fluffy Strawberry Cheesecake Dip that’s quick to prepare, combining smooth cream cheese with whipped heavy cream and sweet strawberry preserves. Perfect for serving with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or cinnamon pita chips for a delightful dessert or party snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup cold heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup strawberry preserves

Serving Options

  • Graham crackers
  • Vanilla wafers
  • Shortbread cookies
  • Cinnamon pita chips (such as Stacy’s)

Instructions

  1. Soften the Cream Cheese: Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature until softened, about 45 minutes. Alternatively, place the cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for about 15 seconds until very soft.
  2. Whip Heavy Cream: Place the cold heavy cream in the bowl of a stand mixer or medium bowl if using a hand mixer. Beat on high speed with the whisk attachment until stiff peaks form, around 1 to 3 minutes. If using a stand mixer, transfer whipped cream to another bowl and do not clean the original bowl.
  3. Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In the now-empty (or a large) bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and kosher salt. Beat on medium speed with the paddle attachment until light and very fluffy, scraping the bowl sides as necessary, about 3 minutes.
  4. Fold in Whipped Cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a flexible spatula until just combined, preserving the airy texture.
  5. Assemble and Serve: Transfer the mixture to a wide, shallow bowl and spread evenly. Spoon strawberry preserves on top and use a fork, toothpick, or knife to gently swirl the preserves into the cheesecake mixture. Serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, shortbread cookies, or cinnamon pita chips.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is well softened to avoid lumps in the dip.
  • Use cold heavy cream for better whipping results.
  • Vanilla extract is optional but adds a nice flavor depth.
  • Gently folding the whipped cream maintains the dip’s light, fluffy texture.
  • Swirling the preserves creates an appealing marbled effect.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve; consume within 2-3 days for best freshness.
