Instructions
- Prepare the roast: Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker evenly. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and the au jus gravy mix over the top of the roast to ensure even seasoning.
- Add peppers and butter: Lay the 4 to 5 pepperoncini peppers on top of the seasoning mixes. Then, place the 1/4 cup of butter over the peppers and roast, which will melt and infuse the meat as it cooks.
- Slow cook the roast: Cover and cook the roast on low heat for 8 hours. This slow cooking process will make the meat tender and flavorful.
