  • Author: lilan
  • Total Time: 1 hour 50 minutes
  • Yield: 36 squares 1x

Description

This decadent M&M White Chocolate Fudge combines creamy white chocolate and marshmallow fluff with colorful M&M candies for a sweet, festive treat. The fudge is smooth, rich, and requires no baking—just stovetop cooking to achieve the perfect creamy texture, making it an easy and fun dessert to make for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 7 oz marshmallow fluff
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix-ins

  • 1 1/2 cup M&M’s (divided: 1 cup for folding in, 1/2 cup for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Butter or grease a 9 x 9 inch pan thoroughly to ensure the fudge does not stick. Set aside while you prepare the fudge mixture.
  2. Cook the sugar mixture: In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until it reaches a rolling boil. Continue boiling for about 3 minutes until the temperature reaches 234º F (soft ball stage). You can also test the stage by dropping a bit of mixture into cold water—it should form a soft ball.
  3. Add chocolate and marshmallow fluff: Remove the saucepan from heat. Immediately stir in the white chocolate chips and marshmallow fluff until everything is melted and well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract for flavor.
  4. Fold in M&M’s: Gently fold in 1 cup of M&M’s into the fudge mixture, making sure they are evenly distributed without breaking them.
  5. Pour and top: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup M&M’s over the top and gently press them into the surface.
  6. Let set: Allow the fudge to cool and set at room temperature for approximately 90 minutes or until firm. Once hardened, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Make sure to use a candy thermometer for accurate temperature readings to achieve the perfect fudge texture.
  • Do not skip the step of gently pressing the M&M’s on top to ensure they stick after setting.
  • For easier removal, line the pan with parchment paper before greasing.
  • This fudge keeps well stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
