Chicken:

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless

Breading:

  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Breading Preparation: Mix bread crumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in one dish. In another dish, beat eggs and milk together. Place flour in a third dish.
  3. Bread Chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Pan Fry: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the breaded chicken for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  5. Top & Bake: In a baking dish, place the cooked chicken breasts. Combine the remaining Parmesan cheese with mozzarella and garlic, then spread over the chicken. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
