Pasta Shells:
- 12 jumbo pasta shells
Filling:
- 1 cup turkey, chopped
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 1 tablespoon celery, diced
- 2 tablespoons yellow onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
- Salt and pepper to taste
Additional:
- 1 1/4 cups gravy
- 1 cup bread stuffing
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare dish: Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish and set aside.
- Cook pasta shells: Boil pasta shells for 8-9 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare filling: Combine chopped turkey, mashed potatoes, celery, onion, garlic, and half of the shredded cheese in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, mix well.
- Assemble stuffed shells: Spread 3/4 cup of gravy on the bottom of the baking dish. Fill each pasta shell with the turkey mixture and place in the dish. Top with stuffing, remaining gravy, and cheese.
- Bake: Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted. Garnish with parsley, chives, or green onions if desired. Serve hot.
