Cheese Dough:
- 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
Roll Dough:
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 3 large eggs, divided
- 1 teaspoon baking powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the tray: Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
- Melt the cheeses: In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave the shredded cheese and cream cheese for 30 seconds. Whisk together until smooth and let it cool slightly.
- Combine ingredients: Add almond flour and two eggs to the cheese mixture. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
- Form dough balls: Shape the dough into 10 balls and place them on the lined tray. Brush with the remaining beaten egg.
- Bake: Bake the rolls for 25 minutes until golden. Serve warm.
