Instructions
- Make the Brownies: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Prepare the batter: In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, Dutch-process cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until smooth and fully blended.
- Incorporate eggs and vanilla: Transfer the chocolate mixture to a large bowl. Whisk in the vanilla extract. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until the batter is thick and shiny.
- Add dry ingredients: Gently fold in the all-purpose flour and cornstarch until just combined, taking care not to overmix.
