Brownie Layer:

- 1 egg
- 5 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
French Silk Topping:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cubed
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
Decoration:
- Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F: Grease a 11×7-inch (2 quart) glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Mix Brownie Layer: Combine brownie mix, egg, melted butter, and milk in a bowl. Spread into prepared dish and bake at 350F for 25-28 minutes.
- Cool Brownies: Allow brownies to cool to room temperature.
- Prepare French Silk Topping: Beat cream cheese and vanilla until smooth. Add powdered sugar. Melt chocolate and butter, then mix into cream cheese. Fold in Cool Whip.
- Assemble: Spread French silk mixture over cooled brownies. Top with remaining Cool Whip.
- Decorate: Sprinkle chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips over the top.
