Ground Beef Mixture:
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
Sauce:
- ½ cup quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1 1/3 cups beef broth
- 1 ounce beefy onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Additional:
- 6 slices provolone cheese

Instructions
- Cook Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and sliced onion over medium heat until beef is cooked through. Drain any grease and transfer to a slow cooker.
- Prepare Sauce: Add oatmeal, beef broth, beefy onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours. Before serving, top with provolone cheese slices, cover, and let melt for 5 minutes.
- Serve: Serve the mixture on brioche buns or slider buns.
