- 5–7 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tsp dark soy sauce (optional)
- 2–3 tbsp corn starch
- 1–3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
Main Ingredients:
- 2 servings dry instant ramen noodle cakes (around 140 g total)
- 10 oz extra firm tofu, veggies, or mushrooms of choice, sliced
- 1 cup water or vegetable broth
- Chopped scallions (for topping)
- Sesame seeds (for topping)
Instructions
- Mix the sauce: Combine all sauce ingredients, adjust to taste, and set aside.
- Cook noodles: Boil water, cook noodles until chewy, then drain and set aside.
- Sauté: Cook tofu/veggies in a pan.
- Add sauce: Pour sauce into the pan, simmer until thickened.
- Combine: Add noodles, cook until sauce thickens.
- Season: Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Garnish: Top with sesame seeds and scallions.
- Serve: Enjoy hot!

- If using more veggies or noodles, double the sauce recipe.
- Cold water stops noodles from cooking further and removes starch.
