Pasta Salad:

  • 12 oz pasta shell noodles (salad shells)

Dressing:

  • 1 lb. thick-cut bacon (diced)
  • 2 cup frozen peas (thawed)
  • 2/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (or fresh squeezed lemon juice)
  • 1 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Cook the diced bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  2. Prepare Ingredients: Drain and cool the pasta, then toss with olive oil. Mix all dressing ingredients, reserving some for later.
