- 10 Tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
Cinnamon Swirl:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and generously butter and flour a 10-cup bundt pan.
- Make cake: Whisk together dry ingredients. Beat butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients and buttermilk.
- Spoon batter: Spoon half the batter into prepared bundt pan, tap to remove air bubbles.
- Cinnamon swirl: Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake: Bake for 40-44 minutes until done. Cool before adding cinnamon sugar topping.
- Cinnamon sugar topping: Brush warm cake with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and let cool completely.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
