  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature

Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Cinnamon Sugar Topping:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and generously butter and flour a 10-cup bundt pan.
  2. Make cake: Whisk together dry ingredients. Beat butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients and buttermilk.
  3. Spoon batter: Spoon half the batter into prepared bundt pan, tap to remove air bubbles.
  4. Cinnamon swirl: Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter, then top with remaining batter.
  5. Bake: Bake for 40-44 minutes until done. Cool before adding cinnamon sugar topping.
  6. Cinnamon sugar topping: Brush warm cake with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and let cool completely.
  7. Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
