- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup pasta cooking water (reserved)
Instructions
- Boil the Pasta: Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Prepare the Cheese Sauce: Return the cooked pasta to the pot. Stir in milk, cottage cheese, cheddar, and garlic powder over low heat until the cheese is melted. Gradually add pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
- Season and Serve: Season the mac and cheese with salt, paprika, black pepper, and onion powder to taste. Adjust the creaminess by adding more pasta water or milk. Serve hot.
