  • Author: lilan
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x
  • Diet: Low Fat

Description

This Chocolate Yoghurt Pudding is a quick, creamy, and guilt-free dessert combining the richness of dark chocolate with the creaminess of fat-free Greek yoghurt and the subtle nuttiness of peanut butter. Perfect for a healthy treat that requires no cooking, it can be served immediately or chilled for a thicker texture with a crisp chocolate topping.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 135g fat-free Greek yoghurt or dairy-free yogurt
  • 1 tbsp smooth peanut butter
  • 20g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Topping

  • 20g dark chocolate, melted
  • A drizzle of peanut butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Chocolate: Break up the 20g of dark chocolate into a heat-proof bowl. Microwave on high in short bursts of a few seconds, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add the fat-free Greek yoghurt (or dairy-free yogurt), smooth peanut butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and the melted chocolate. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined into a smooth pudding mixture.
  3. Portion the Pudding: Divide the yoghurt pudding evenly between two dessert glasses or ramekins, spreading it out smoothly.
  4. Add the Topping: Melt the remaining 20g dark chocolate (if not already melted). Drizzle the melted chocolate over the pudding in each glass. Optionally, add a drizzle of peanut butter over the chocolate for extra flavor and decoration.
  5. Serve or Chill: You can serve the pudding immediately for a soft, creamy texture, or refrigerate it for about 1 hour to allow the pudding to thicken and for the chocolate topping to harden, creating a crisp shell.

Notes

  • You can use dairy-free yogurt to keep the recipe vegan-friendly.
  • Microwaving chocolate in short bursts helps prevent burning.
  • For a richer pudding, allow it to chill and set in the refrigerator.
  • Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing maple syrup according to taste.
  • Optionally add nuts or berries as garnish for added texture and flavor.
