Bacon Filling:
- 1 Pound Bacon
- 1 Small Onion, Chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Pack Mushrooms
- 1 Handful Spinach
- 1 Block Cream Cheese
- 2 Tbsp Butter
Dough:
- 1 Cup Warm Water
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Active Yeast
- 1 Stick Softened Butter
- ¼ Cup Sugar
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Sprinkle Cayenne
- 1 Sprinkle Pepper
- 1 Tsp Thyme
- 1 Tbsp Everglades
- 1 Tbsp Parsley
- 6 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Warm Milk
Instructions
- Bacon Filling: Start by frying bacon in a cast iron skillet. Remove bacon and cook onion and garlic. Add mushrooms and spinach. Mix in cream cheese and butter.
- Dough: Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Blend butter, sugar, eggs, seasonings, and flour in a mixer. Add yeast mixture. Rest dough for 1 hour.
- Roll out dough, spread filling, roll into log, and cut into rolls. Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Add butter to skillet, place rolls, let rise, then bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Smother in butter and serve.
