Description

  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 2 tsp Dill Pickle Relish
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup

Caramelized Onions:

  • 1 small Onion (sliced thin)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar

Burger Patties:

  • 1/2 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp Mustard (divided)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (divided)
  • pinch Salt and Pepper (each)

Assembly:

  • 4 slices Rye Bread
  • 2 slices Muenster Cheese
  • 2 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Burger Sauce: Mix mayonnaise, mustard, relish, and ketchup in a bowl. Refrigerate for later.
  2. Caramelized Onions: Cook sliced onions, butter, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar in a skillet over medium-low heat for about 20 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Burger Patties: Form patties, season with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Cook in a skillet for 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Assembly: Butter bread slices, place them in the skillet. Spread burger sauce on slices, add cheddar, onions, patty, Muenster, and top with bread. Grill until golden and cheese melts.
